To attach a file to a message (Windows)

1. Compose your message, but don't click Send yet.
2. Click the Attach button on the composition window toolbar.
3. In the Insert Attachment window, find the file you want to attach, then click Attach.
4. Click Send.

To attach a file to a message (Macintosh)

1. Compose a message as described above, but don't click Send yet.
2. Click the Add Attachments button on the composition window toolbar.
3. In the Add Attachments window, select a file you want to attach, then click Add or Attach. (The Add button changes to Open when you select a folder.) The file(s) you select to add will appear in the bottom pane of the Add Attachments window. You can add as many files as you like.
4. Click Done in the Add Attachments window.
5. Click Send.

NOTE: You can attach any kind and any number of files to an e-mail message, including image, word processor and spreadsheet files. Remember that the recipient will need to have the appropriate software (and proper version!) to open any files you attach, and that numerous or large attached files will require more time to download.
